Wish you were here: compare Rome and London

 

Find out about similarities and differences between Rome and London, including climate, landscape, size and weather. Use a range of research techniques such as maps, globes and geographical information books and the internet to research information.  

 

Present in the provided table or as a poster 

 

EXT: You could report your findings by writing an imaginary postcard from the point of view of a tourist, visiting Rome/ London. 

Round the Dice


There are three dice, each of them with faces labelled from 1 to 6.
When the dice are rolled they can be combined in different ways to make a 3-digit numbers.

For example, if I roll a 4, 2 and a 3 I can combine them to make 243 or 324 etc.

Now round each of these numbers to the nearest 10:  243 rounds to 240 and 324 rounds to 320.

Repeat for other rolls of the dice.
Round a minimum of 15 numbers 

Do both of the numbers you make ever round to the same multiple of 10?
