Week 4- 23.11.20

Maths Homework

Last week and this week we are focusing on money in our maths lessons. We have been learning to recognise coins, select the correct money, make amounts in different ways and add money. 

 

Please complete the maths mastery task for the relevant year group. Year 1 children will be focusing on recognising the different coins and year 2 will be looking at selecting the correct money (including coins and notes). Each activity contains questions for an adult to use for discussion with their child (no need to record answers here, although you can if you wish!) and tasks for the children to complete.

 

Challenge: Attempt the opposite year group's tasks to earn 2 extra smilies! laugh

English Homework

At the beginning of our English lessons each day, the children complete a "SPaG Warm Up" where they attempt some 'SATs style' questions linked to spelling, punctuation and grammar.

 

Please complete the SPaG activity mat for the relevant year group which has a combination of SPaG warm up activities on that the children are used to. 

 

Challenge: Attempt the opposite year group's activity mat for an extra 2 smilies! laugh
