Thank-you to all our families for supporting our learning from school into the home. Our children are super happy and raring to learn because they feel confident and ready to give things a go - this is all down to how well school and home are partnering up to provide worthwhile learning experiences that are consolidated with homework and games.
The range of homework and links provided this week is work that can be done over the half term. Two weeks is a long time off school and children of this age can forget everything they've learned if they don't touch base and keep their skills going.
Our main academic work this half term has been on our phonics and number recognition to 10, therefore in order for the children to keep these learned skills for when they return, I have supplied work that will help them to recap their learning on the sounds s, a, t, p, i, n, m & d, numbers & their tricky words.
Please dip in & out of these activities - the best method is 'little & often' with children of this age.
Please remember to upload photos and videos on Tapestry, not just of their homework but of all the fun things they get up to during our Autumn break. We love to see what they're up to! For any questions or queries, I will be on email.
