Week 4; 27.9.2021
This week our children have enjoyed the story of Supertato. We have enjoyed making our own comic strips, talking about vegetables (as a pre-lim to Harvest next week), making superhero masks and talking about what makes us all SUPER.
We have also made our own Supertato superhero characters which the children will be bringing home on Thursday/Friday.
We would like the children to go around the house/garden (or somewhere else you might be going this weekend) and put their Supertato character in different places and take a photo for Tapestry. We would really like the children to make up their own Supertato story based on the setting they choose - perhaps Evil Pea may turn up in your story? Perhaps you may find that Supertato has super powers? Will another vegetable need saving?
This task is all based on the children really getting creative and making stories up, developing their story language and predicting what might or could happen next.
