Welcome to Holbeck Class!

A huge warm welcome to all our new Littles and their families. We are so excited to have you join our Cuckney family. We cant wait to get to know you and make those long-lasting relationships between home and school.

Here is some information about our class;

Class begins at 8:45 and finishes at 3:15. Drop-off and collection for Holbeck children will be through our white gate at our rainbow door. Children will need a bag, a named water bottle, a change of clothes and a raincoat. These things will be stored on their peg which is situated near our rainbow door so parents can help their children to find their peg and hang their things up.

Dinner time is 12-1 and is spent in the hall; eating as a whole school family. The older children serve the younger children their lunch and they clean up their plates and look after them at the table. Children are then taken outside onto the playground to play before coming back in to the classroom to begin our afternoon sessions.

Our class timetable is attached to this homepage, please feel free to browse through so you get a feel for your child's week. As well as this, you will get regular Tapestry updates so you can see some of the things your child has gotten up to in school. We have found that these lend themselves to some wonderful discussions about school over dinner at home and help the children to know that home and school work together. Please feel free to upload your own photos of what your child gets up to over the weekend so we can talk to your child about their fun family times. 

PE will be on a Tuesday morning with our PE coach. We may do PE at other times in the week and so we like to ask parents to leave their child's PE kit in their bag all the time so we are always prepared.

Baking is always on a Friday. For this, we ask for a £5 contribution to buy ingredients each half term. Please give this to a member of our Holbeck team at the beginning of each half term so we can do the shopping.
